Nice to see how to do those tubs properly. Great work. Keep the pics coming along as it could come in handy for me
I've got some nightmare pics of some crap tubs that someone did on my 69 Camaro which I'll get round to posting on here one day..... plastic coated aluminium roof sheets, rivets, silicon mastic and gaps everywhere....

Life has been getting in the way of progress of late, but nearly done now. 95% of the welding done, run out of gas
All tied back into the roof structure, and almost ready to seam seal and undercoat and that's it done. All in all pretty happy with the way it's turned out, be glad to get on with something else.....

Meanwhile, back at the ranch work continues....
Tubs are all done, seam sealered and painted in 3m Body guard. I don't have wheels, tyres or axle to complete the job, so everything has gone back as it was for now. It will be a nigh on bolt in job to finish when I get the parts. I fitted the Monoleafs and Caltracs though so I could check the ride height. Shocks are Calvert 9 way adjustables. I seem to have been supplied some wrong parts as the lower link is too long to fit, trying to get that sorted at the moment.

Also been mocking up the shifter, I've had this for a long time just waiting for something to use it in. It's a Mr Gasket Verticle gate shifter, my favourite 4 speed shifter ever, as used in Pro Stock way back when. The one pictured in the car is the later version, I'll be using the other one, which is an original early '70's model. The shifters you can find, but you can't get the mounting bracket and rods for love nor money, they are body specific. Working from photographs, I made a bracket from MDF, and used the rods from a B Body trans I had, It works fine. The original bracket would have been cast ally, I'll get Trev to copy my pattern and make one from billet, meanwhile I'll get some weight out of the shifter, it's a real brick....
