
Ceramic Coating for Headers and other options?

I think this coating was originally on the '67 Dart Gasser Headers and side pipes. I think I need something a bit more "Show" on this project. Thanks for highlighting, though....MattH wrote:http://www.rfiscreening.co.uk/
Pete, this lot are 20 minutes from you in Braughing.
Mark used them for his 68 Mustang and was very pleased.

In Germany we used
spray Alu
Its was welder and spray gun in one.
It would feed a roll of alu to the gun the arc would melt it and the air would spray it. Cheap and very good. Had little thermal property's.
You could wrap with heat tape and use gold pretty wire

I can't fault Zircotec, great service & quality. Mention Frosty sent you, I got a significant amount off.
Depending on what you choose, affects the cost or the amount of thermal protection.
Mine were not coated on the inside, so less of a concern to me with them being made from stainless.
Drastically reduces the amount of heat in the bay, also helps in getting spent gases out
