Thanks Miles....at least my workshop is airconditioned eh! Probably not a bad thing....if it was inside, the family would never see me!! :D

had some fun over last couple of days.....had a slightly more than old mopar musty smell in the cabin that I decided to track down once and for all. As all the seats, carpet etc are out, I got my more than ample konk to do some investigating. Tracked it down to the head lining which has seen much better days.

It was split down a seam so decided to neatly cut it out for now without removing all the interior chrome trim. Down it came....together with a couple of dead mice, several nests and a Bananarama! load of mouse turds! Binned everything, cleaned and disinfected....smells lovely now!! :D

End of a frustrating week on the Fury...weather really cocked my plans up to hit more of the bodywork! Never mind....got on with a few more mundane jobs...

Headliner down (complete with decapitated mouse and nests...nice)

Underside of roof cleaned, rubbed down and primed in red oxide

Floor pan rubbed down and painted (needs new seam sealer still when dry)

Wheels rubbed down and painted ready for tyres to go on with white letters showing next week

Seatbelts scrubbed and drying as we speak (to be recoloured)

Rear parcel shelf board cleaned and primed awaiting paint matched to original interior colour

Arm rest surrounds painted and refitted. Done in aluminium (should be chrome but matches dash trim)

Wiper arms adjusted on splines to sit properly on windows

Thats it really...want to get on with bodywork but in the lap of the Gods....see what next week brings eh!

Have a good weekend folks...cheers Steve

G'day Steve.
Didn't even know you had another car until today...
Reading about all your quality work made the boring job of bottle feeding a 6 day old baby interesting this evening.
I don't know where you get the energy from.

Great work mate!
