Are you having timed runs up the hill climb this year?

I think I could arrange it if enough people want to take part.

Off to Brooklands in the morning, just got to tie up a few loose ends.
I'm going to try and arrange for the test hill to be open for us, also see if we can have the banking for pics like other years.
I've been in touch with RockAutos and they are going to send us over some stuff as usual, including gift vouchers for the best liked cars as voted for by the judges on the day.

Is there an age limitation on cars at this meet ?
Basically can I come in the truck and play or will it have to be chained to the fence outside ?
I won't be washed !

You can't do "timed runs" up the test hill, it's for demonstration runs only. In the briefing you're instructed to throttle off 3/4 of the way up and I think if you give it the beans all the way up you're politely asked to leave. There is no run off area at the top and public wandering about.

If you put a flag 3/4 of the way up and a guy with a stop watch you could do times runs up to the flag for fun. You would need marshals to keep people out of the way at the top.
