Used to be Blue's Valiant

One thing I couldn't get used to is the '68 rear lights, they are odd and not in a good way. The '69 Valiant lights look far better IMO, so I've been searching without luck for a good reasonably priced pair on ebay in the States for a while now. Last week a good pair pop up 10 miles down the road for £30, I last saw the seller 30 years ago, he's never owned a Mopar and bought them to fit his caravan which they didn't, so far so bizarre. The apertures just needed some slight clearancing and they bolted right in, huge improvement I reckon, oh and the new lights are 1lb heavier which is a bonus right at the back.

Also like both and as a stock item, though I'd agree that i'd prefer the overall look of the 69's myself on it myself.
Saying that, I recon the originals would look great if you got the inserts (not the chrome, just the matt/brushed steel looking part), all paint matched in body colour.........
