He rolled a bead the Handel of machine is at 12oclock
Undone the rollers and the Handel swung down a flicked him on his bell end.
Clearly in a lot of pain I was rolling up
Shame the panel has buckled didn't look that bad at the time . Looks good in car . looking back would it have help if we had started one end and moved across. Moving the buckle across
The panel and off . If you know what I mean

The closer you are to death the more alive you are
Yeah Will...couldnt do that again if I tried!!
dont think there is much more we could do to be honest...the original was a big pressing so didnt suffer distortion. Maybe if we had put some diagonal ones in aswell would have helped???
Its not a problem though....Ive got some really rigid thin shelving rail I can cut to to fit up under the cross members. Ive ordered some stainless dome head bolts that I can put through from the top and bolt to the rail. I will then grind the head bown as shallow as I can and it should just look like a factory style assembly...

Bit of progress today...nice still day so got some welding done in the trunk. Centre section in now with beefier braces in place. They pulled most of the buckling out when I bolted them in. Not stock as the bolt heads show but does the job. Will probably grind the heads down a bit before paint.
Hope to make a start on the outer sections tomorrow
cheers Steve
