Well done Steve, nice to sell to a friend, proves you both trust the car. Been a great project to see develop, looking forward to the 'barge' project ;)

Thanks Miles, Andy knows he will have to tinker and fettle as we all do and things do break and wear out etc. She is a great intro to Mopars and he is very meticulous and practical so Im looking forward to seeing her move on to a better level than I have achieved. I like the fact that we both love the original, lived in feel of her, not a show car, but full of character and life. he will have a bit more time on his hands in July so she will be a nice distraction from the building work he plans to do at home on retirement.

Im looking forward to having a go at a fusie next, new set of challenges but have a few knowledgeable contacts locally (get that kettle on Kev!!) and you guys for support, so looking forward to getting stuck in.

Cheers Steve :thumbright: :thumbright:

Well done Steve. It's been a fantastic thread watching you bring her back to life. Look forward to hearing of her adventures with Andy.

Great thread.... Glad your hard work is going to a friend and new enthusiast... Can I ask where you got your preened metal plates from? Don't usually see pressed top and bottom lines :thumbright:

Nice work Steve and she looks great.

could I ask you about the fan shroud, do you have a photo of it.

I need to think about doing one for mine, so any advice would be appreciated.

Yeah Pete....another great 'Old Guys Rule' homage to sheds!!! My favourite is the 'Shed Happens' one....great and very true!!

I got the plates online from Craigs Plates or States Plates, cant remember which now. They are good quality, show only really so I got Andy a set of pressed black and white 'legal' ones aswell.

Thanks for the kind words Dave, appreciate it, cheers.

Ali, I used a Dart shroud that I mounted onto a three piece, bolt together frame that completely encloses the fan. I painted it satin black to match the radiator. Not original obviously but tidy enough and much safer now. Will post a pic for you later...

Yeah Gaz, Andy is excited and sure you will meet him over the Summer..
