Enough of that, time to save a bit more weight! 'glass front wings, made by Dale so required very little fettling. They practically bolted right on, and are a nice fit.

Brilliant as ever. Are you going to upgrade to -AN hoses?

Brakes today! Searched long and hard for the lightest aftermarket brake kit available, this is it made by Strange, it's a lovely bit of kit.
I used the lighter 9" drum spindles which I had to ream out to take the large balljoint chrome moly tubular upper control arms.
Everything fitted well although setting the camber and caster took a good few hours but it's all done now.

Yes Jon the hubs come with the brake kit. The spindles are standard 9" drum spindles, the upper control arms are by Magnum Farce, the lower arms and struts by QA1, the tie rods from Hotchkiss. This ones not getting a rack.....

That's the way to go for a nice firm feel!!

Are you sure those big old school front tyres won't rub on the chassis rails and pipes?? ;)

My usual 7.10 x15 Moroso Drag specials. Might need to trim the front edge of the outer arch a bit but I expected that, no big deal.
