Anton built me a cut out and side pipe


and points directly at the people on the footpath that i want to impress, lady folk, people on mobility scooters etc

the flange includes a metal shim

i undo 1 wingnut flip the shim and the side pipe is open

sensible when closed
less sensible when open I hve been known to grin

when closed i just put a sign in the back saying i have a very small penis

when its open i can take down the sign which improves rear visibility no end

I think I will look at getting some fitted soon, along with an H or X pipe of which I have neither at the moment....

So far I was looking at the Doug's headers ones and QTP ones which are both fairly expensive. The dougs ones aren't a butterfly valve, more a sort of guillotine...

It always amazes me how these exhaust often go over the axle at such a sharp angle, mine does that, can't be ideal! Some of them just dump earlier before the axle?

I have two flow-master mufflers just like autofetish.

Yep, if you are going the non-standard route, if you dump them with radius bends (expensive!!) before the rear axle then they are great for dropping off at the Track. Blue built me a great set back in the day on my old Barracuda.

You could fit the flange type plates to these systems cheaply but would not operate remotely.......

Looks like a tricky route for the propshaft though!
It may be the camera angle, but will it get past those flowmasters?........

The rear part of the system is as it came of the car so it should fit

Not sure what the bore of a standard 383 8 3/4 prop is ?

Been offered a 3inch or 3.5inch prop at prop shop think i will go 3

Normally the exhaust hangs below the Drive Shaft.

I have got 3" TTI's and an "H" Pipe so it is all pretty grim to get the Prop out but in service there is no problem..........

Upgrading my exhaust to a full 3 1/2 system with new horns.

This time the horns are made of 2mm to help with warping

Weld the nuts to the Y piece flange. A lot easier to get the bolts for the blanking plate on/off if you are not going electric route from underneath without having to jack the car up. If you don't it's a headache trying to get both arms underneath to hold nut and bolt.
