Mad, bad, brilliant as always...

I wonder who looked after Wil before us ? :drunken:

As some of you may know I didn't build this engine myself

It's was found at the weekend that the cam that is fitted is used and worn out. The cam On 2 of its lobes does not turn the lifter in there bore.

So engine out and full strip down as clearly things are not right here

Regarding the engine builder please start another thread in general section if you really want to start a witch hunt

That beats the hell out of a Clarke 2 ton engine hoist.

Good luck with the build, Will; I know you will make it a success.

Charger

Post by DaveD »

That's exactly how we put the engine into my Charger. Makes me fill less 'odd' now.

It's a bitch to have to do this mate but you'll have a lot more confidence in it once you've gone over it yourself.
The only part of my car I've not built myself is the motor bottom end and I always have a little nagging worry about it...

It was my pleasure, I Bananarama! had been a better outcome.

Thanks for being an excellent host; and I am impressed by the way you took the disappointment with such good grace. Top man.
