I know that you can get differing oils for a slipper or open diff, though assuming you have the correct oil for a slipper. Why would you add this additive?

You can not buy an 'all in one' LSD oil for clutch plate type LSDs?
I'm not trying to be argumentative, just establish if this is what everyone does because everyone always has. Or if something has been developed recently with advancements of lubricants to cover all bases, I expect not though from the feedback so far!
Yes there are some out there,Fuchs do one,I get it in 25l drums,Castrol axle z LS5 is another, but I don't know if they are suitable for "our" type lsd s,though they are lsd specific oils.
Ive used the Motal gear oil for LSD`s with nothing else for years without problem Jon
