1969 charger steering

Post by n04hs »

Hi just see if anyone has put on a rack and pinion to their charger?
Was it worth doing, do you have to change anything fabricating wise?

Thanks.

if you swap to a hemi 6 or a slant 6 you can dent the sump
weld some horns onto you K and mount up a GM variable rate Rack

shenanigans with rack end to balljoint mismatch

problems with coupling to steering shaft.

better off with new Borgeson box

or manual 20:1

Or nail the box as tight as you can, take the play out of all the worn ball joints, and then add castor, lots of castor. Did i say castor................
