Factory originalish, as its such a rare car, but will hope to run on the track too!
Greengo/Sassy-grass was slightly better option for 1971 than the browny/green metallic she came with.(as per piccy)
Original engine was rebuilt in Canada before she was shipped over.
Budget resto was done in the 80's but body and frame was badly rotted by many years of Canadian-SALT!
Up until recently there were very few body panels made for 71's.
So I had to use alot of Califorinian metal from donor cars.
I think six different cars gave up their metally bits to save one GTX!!! :thumbright:

Hope I can get her done before Shakey closes...
Yabacca

ps air grabber and hemi are long gone...
Elastomeric front bumpers are super-rare!
Totally different to the standard chrome/painted ones.
hi jon
you state original engine was rebuilt in canada before shipment,, then state the original hemi is long gone ??? please explain,,

Sorry for the confusion guys.

Hemi-426 engine was fitted sometime in the past and the original 440-engine was rebuilt and kept aside.
Once I found out my Gtx was once fitted with a hemi, I went and bought another 426 hemi that was also in a 71 Roadrunner!
What a strange coincidence...

Clear as mud...

Nice car - the factory colour is mega.

are you using schumacher conversion mounts for the hemi ?

p.s - raised white letter tires are cool on factory rims - not so cool on aftermarket :D
