Mine's in the front lines. It's plumbed in but I've not got around to wiring it yet.
I also haven't quite figured out how to use it with manual gears.

De-clutch and Stage, apply brakes, apply line lock, remove foot from brake, depress clutch, select first, watch the light, release line lock and raise clutch simultaneously, Red light, swear, practice more, wish you had not taken a knife to a gun fight, simples.

No-one will believe you...
I'm just using one that I bought from Summit Racing, it's in the garage at the minute so can't get to the instructions, but from what I remember it's quite straight forward as far as wiring goes68Runner wrote:Could I just ask which electric line lock people are using and is the a wiring diagram about as I'm crap with wiring

Would you have it any other way?db wrote:Ah, the traditional MMA cocktail of help and pi55takingPete wrote:De-clutch and Stage, apply brakes, apply line lock, remove foot from brake, depress clutch, select first, watch the light, release line lock and raise clutch simultaneously, Red light, swear, practice more, wish you had not taken a knife to a gun fight, simples.

The wiring is very simple.
One side of the Line Lock is to earth, a 12v supply via a momentary (non-locking) switch.
You need to check the loading of the Line lock as you may have to operate it via a relay if the current drawn is too great for the capacity of the switch used.
