Had a little look at the car again tonight. Checked the distributor cap and contacts where a little green, cleaned them up and checked the plugs. There were pretty suggesting the engine was running rich.

Checked the RPM on the multi meter and it was idling around 430, adjusted that upwards and little and its a little better.

The checked the idle mixture screws and the left was out 1.4 turns and the right about 0.9. I set them both 1 turn out for now but I have no vacuum gauge ti check maniford vacuum.

I noticed vacuum nipple on the carb had a small bit of hose with a bolt in the end. This could be leaking a little no way to tell, I popped the bolt out I swear she seemed to run a little better but that could have been in my head.

Been a while since I posted anything. Started an MBA in International Business in September and haven't been able to do anything on the car. I've been back at it the last couple of weeks trying to get it ready for the summer wen I might have time to work and drive it.

Anyways I addresses a little paintwork on the car a couple weeks ago and fit the decals. I'll be on pestering everyone shortly about the mechanical woes I'm having.

Here is a couple pics, kept the repair small as decal is painted on and paint work isn't 100% anyways. Didn't turn out too bad, haven't painted anything I a while.

Looking sharp - those decals go well on a high impact colour 8-)

Cheers guys, haven't been at the car in ages. Gonna order a few bits for her this week.

I need to go at the timing and carb again too😫 Try to finally put it to bed.
Anyone got a decent carb going cheap that I could swap out to eliminate the carb

Took a heap of wires out of the car and tried to make sense of a few that have just been cut here and there.

Fit the Steet Demon and Pertronix Ready to run with coil, but of tuning still required but she hit the open road last night.

Only drove a few miles but I'm loving the street demon. Hopefully get a few nice days now to get her out. Definitely need a sound track now :thumbright:

Clutch release bearing started to make noise last night too, always something
