It's the term for what guys did when they bought these cars new, on the second day of ownership they would be down the speed shop bolting on aftermarket wheels, gauges, dress up parts etc. Many Muscle car's were modified almost straight away with bolt on parts and that's the way I like them.

4 Speed?
No I particularly wanted an auto in this instance, I did come across a couple of 4 speed cars but let them go for that reason.
Id have thought it was manual you be after aswell... Re the Blue interior, i thought i saw this on FleaBay?

assuming the car was originally a 318 2 barrel 3 on the tree?

Finished off the front block off panel Today, happy with that. Hoping to be able to back off the Barracuda a bit shortly and get this one done.

Lovely, is it secured with stainless hex heads? Can't quite see in pics... will it stay raw or be painted?

It's pre anodised sheet Dorian, so that's the finish. I used button head fasteners but I wouldn't be useing anything as heavy as stainless now would I? ;)

Windows. Been putting this off for ages while I figured out how to do it and what parts to use.
Windows need to open as I can't do with fixed Lexan in a street driven car. I started off by looking for window channel rubber that would fit an available size of aluminium channel.
I quickly found out U section channel just collapses when you try to bend it to the necessary profile. Box doesn't so I used that and then cut it to a U section afterwards.

I used some square dowel that is a tight fit to keep the corners lined up until its bonded in place. So far so good..

Not wind up, I'll use a strap to pull them up.

Good stuff :thumbright: thought you'd not want the weight of the regulator
