This has just given me even more inspiration to get out and play.
Been through a horrible couple of years , with the thought of doing exactly what you are doing , as a light at the end.
Not there yet , but it will happen

Cheers guys, certainly having fun and yes it's great to have such an enthusiastic clan to get involved.
I've now finished the Line Lock solenoid move so it's further away from heat sources and now below the master cylinder level.
This, along with bleeding the master correctly (which I didn't appreciate fully or do) should help hold the fronts and stop me rolling forward on the line when I bring the revs up.

that was the plan, believe it or not. But I used my last 4 up making the transmission braces to the cross member.
I wanted to get it done today so I went a bit "scrap heap challenge" style, it's ended up ok though, nice smooth action with no friction and with the money I saved I'm going to have a pint
