What a great thread to have read.
This has just given me even more inspiration to get out and play.
Been through a horrible couple of years , with the thought of doing exactly what you are doing , as a light at the end.
Not there yet , but it will happen

Until then , I'll keep myself busy with a lovely pair of 34 F's

Cheers guys, certainly having fun and yes it's great to have such an enthusiastic clan to get involved.

I've now finished the Line Lock solenoid move so it's further away from heat sources and now below the master cylinder level.

This, along with bleeding the master correctly

(which I didn't appreciate fully or do) should help hold the fronts and stop me rolling forward on the line when I bring the revs up.

If it does, this is a camera view I took with a GoPro mounted under the rear bumper filming my first attempt at a burn out in the Dart.

Fuel pumps a bit noisy as ever, untill the proper sound of the motor kicks in

Just thought it was an interesting view and it would be interesting to hear anyones views

My second run in October from inside the car.

Let off early, got a bit light at the top and as I hadn't made lots of passes I took it easy

Still blimmin good fun though

A 67 Dart, all I can say is DOOOOOO IT

It's brilliant fun

As for times, 12.79 @ 109mph then a 12.64 @ 101 so my start improved a little

Still lots to learn and practice, roll on warmer weather

So I have now replaced the leaky master cylinder with a Strange unit from Hauser Racing, jolly decent chaps

I decided to fabricate my own adaptor plate and adjustable push rod to screw onto the push rod that comes with the cylinder.

I now have a much firmer feel and the pedal no longer sinks after a few seconds

The heat shield might need an update though as this unit is longer than the old one.

that was the plan, believe it or not. But I used my last 4 up making the transmission braces to the cross member.

I wanted to get it done today so I went a bit "scrap heap challenge" style, it's ended up ok though, nice smooth action with no friction and with the money I saved I'm going to have a pint
