Nice work! As far as I'm aware lower control arms are not prone to failure or flexing in normal use, sling it round a track hard with some sticky rubber and it could be a different story. It's one of those mods you do if you feel happier that it's done, it isn't necessary or something you would feel the benefit of on the road IMO.
