Nice work! As far as I'm aware lower control arms are not prone to failure or flexing in normal use, sling it round a track hard with some sticky rubber and it could be a different story. It's one of those mods you do if you feel happier that it's done, it isn't necessary or something you would feel the benefit of on the road IMO.

According to various websites stateside including PST they reckon its a no brainer if your rebuilding your LCA's it tightens up the pivot point nicely and does stop any twist and for approx. Â£25.00 the pair its cheap too.

Guess it'd be hard to tell the difference as it's a long time since I've driven it

but as the arms are getting poly bushed and new ball joints fitted it's probably going be worth doing

Yep for the money it costs and while your rebuilding them even if it was only a couple of percent better its worth doing!!!
