Man, it's pretty impressive that when you post about an issue you have you are often also able to post about the solution and how you already implemented it!!!

Brought some nylon 66 which I have never used before to make a chassis to chain guard.
I'm not really geared up for dealing with his material so it was all abit amature but got the job done.

Re: Fifty shades of Jade
On the first test drive I had around 6° of rake
I had a really bad tank slapped and it was horrendously unstable at speed. Poo came out nappy job
After ringing around every person in the UK that has worked on hub center steering it was decided to go to the other extreme and have 100mm of rake.
This have given me a 37° rake angle
Fingers crossed it’s more stable for the next test drive

Re: Fifty shades of Jade
that'll help for sure
. when i built my 47 austin gasser it didn't have enough castor at first and was a real handful, very twitchy. i added 3 degree wedge plates between the axle and springs and it was transformed. i built my anglia gasser with almost 10 degrees and that was cushty
. once you're happy will you weld the extensions to the frame?
cheers, neil.
