I did see Terry but as he does not know me from Adam I didn't force myself on him. (Trust me you don't want that Terry!)
Now you say Skippy was there I think I know who he was and yes he was at the club stand.
The '70 Daytona looked cool driving out with that little tyre chirp.
Or was that supposed to be a burnout?

One Mopar you don't mention was the 1970 Challenger R/T with the 383 and 'Gator Grain top. The two guys that show that car are very nice chaps and I always say hello to them when i see them. Didn't see them this time though.
The quality of the Rods was great. Had me thinking about when I am going to get around to building a '32 3-window. Mmmm.
But then again that '55 Chev brought back all those feelings I used to have when I was a teen. In fact even when I was 20 or 21 years old I still wanted that car (in it's Two Lane Blacktop guise) so much I would cry myself to sleep over it (honestly!). I was so poor I could hardly scrape together bus fare and I honestly thought I would never in a million years be able to own a car like that. Just the thought of having to touch a Chevy engine puts me off. At least with a '32 ford I could fit a real engine.

The funfair was cool for Tim & Mels boys. We all had a go on the mechanical bull? That was a laugh. Tim was good at it though. I think he was only a few seconds from the record when he fell off. I was useless. The thing was trying to mount me I think.
