Next up radiator engine hoses

On a standard hayabusa these are the standard factory mess

so started making some stainless ones and will be using AN16 Braided lines braided lines for all coolant.

Just need to decide where to put the rad

Under-tray or some sort will need to bolt to the bottom of the chassis.

I added lots of rivet nuts to all the gussets underneath and then welded every one in so it’s 100%

Never used them before and think there quite good :thumbright:

We use a lot of rivnuts at work. Seem to work well. Had no problems so far :thumbright:

SCTA rulebook says not to fill the corners of gussets. Not sure why, but that’s what it says.

There not gussets there Partial tubes very different :thumbright:


A great design adding maximum stiffness for minimum weight to the chassis. :thumbright:

40kg block of aluminium.

1000mm x 70mm x 500mm :shock:

Under 5kg when finished !!!

The milling machine has started !!!!
