It doesn't sound like you know what you are doing. So stop before you damage something.

Is this a power unit or manual?

What exactly is the problem. Is it play in the steering wheel?

Are you adjusting the box in the vehicle or on the bench?

Do you have a factory workshop manual?

What year and model car is this?

thanx Dave, it is power and it was rebuilt last year apparently but it is so light ! i jus want to make it to feel more positive

There is not an adjustment for that. How light it feels is down to how the internal parts are put together.

Mopar power steering is VERY light indeed. But can be improved by setting the front wheel alignment correctly. ie as much caster as possible.

Reaction springs. That is what I was trying to remember.
They are what give the "feel" to the steering box. Although I wouldn't call it feel. They just make it stiffer to turn. You still don't get much feedback from the road. Not like with a manual box.
