Having difficulty removing ball joint from UCA. Anton has lent me the correct
socket however even using a long breaker bar it will not shift. not wanting ti damage tool or UCA anyone got any tips for removal.

heat the threaded ring of the control arm with torch a little !! don't have to go mad & get it red or anything !! then give it some with a breaker bar , wear gloves also ,
thats how i done mine , should of left it on the car to do it though as ended up moving the steel 3 meter work bench that was bolted to the floor !! with control arm in vice all round the garage while trying to undo it with a breaker bar !! two seconds of heating with a torch !! easy
