Hi,
Great news, after parking up my Charger during the building of my 34 Coupe, I finally got in the garage and fired it up :D
I smacked the sump off the ground on the way to Wheels Day 2010, but no oil loss or pressure drop, however when I checked on the car a week later there was oil under the car.
It developed a leak after the motor had cooled down. So I just left it as I couldn't fix both cars.
Anyway I had my head up my arse with work trying to do as many hours as i could to fund the building of the Coupe, so the Charger got left behind.
So today I topped it up with oil, checked the water, fitted a battery and I thought what the Hell, I crossed my fingers the motor hadn't seized up, after a few cranks and rechecking underneath, and sat there cranking till either the battery went flat or she fired.
And I sat there with the biggest smile on my face when she settled down to tick over 8-)

If I had a '70 Charger I'd want one just like that.

So are we to see the Charger at any of the meets now Mr Trooper?

It would be great to knoww another car has been put on the road and not tucked away for evermore.

Did it make it to the Nats in 2009/2010. Black Charger and MVP plate rings a bell?

Good looking car Mr Trooper! :thumbright:

Hi,
Thanks for the comments, yeah the Charger went every year including 2010, i think Dave McBride has taken a couple of nice shots at Wheels Day before.

Tony O told me the car was red back in the early days and was driven hard down Greenford way, other than that a Big guy named Tiny had it before me. :read2:

There is something awesome about black chargers =P~ And the red stripe suits them well.

Put a red stripe on and away you go. :D
