Hipo 340 exhaust manifold fit?

Post by Anonymous »

I had some problem attempting to fit an original 340 manifold to my 360 Dart sport (manifold part no. shows it to be 340-1968070 fittment) on the drivers side.
The manifold would not fit past the power steering column/brake master cylinder.
Has anyone else fited one of these in situ and is it usual to have to undo the engine mount and tilt the engine to fit the exhaust manifold?

I believe the hi-po cast manifolds are usually fitted off the car ... I bet someone's managed it though, lol.
