Dave, 3.55 gears will be great, a major improvement that wont be painful to drive. Ive had 2.76, 3.23, 3.55 & 3.91 on my Dart and 3.55s were the winner!
Chuck a nice cam in that 318 and have fun.

Nah. You got it all wrong. Chuck in 4.10s and a GV overdrive. THEN you have the best of ALL worlds.

Not sure Jerry, I've been in touch with Dr Diff and he's said i could reuse the one on my existing diff or he has new ones for $15 (never stipulated what my current diff is).

Not entirely sure if a) the 7.25 has one and b)if so they are interchangable/same size.

Justin has recently done this and said most of the brake lines can be reused as he has on his?

Will find out in spring for sure. If you have got one lying around though buddy, if you'd kindly put it to one side, i'd be greatful!

The coffers are running low as it is (my original £1.5k budget has been obliterated) so no fancy overdrive stuff for me! 3.55 or 3.73 would be good!

you may find that the 7.25 didn't have a breather on it, mine didn't, just a bolt.

As you can see on my axle I've run the 7.25 brake lines just fine, the block lines up with the breather hole in the axle, it really was a straight swap over

I think some years the brass block was part of the flexy hose. Other years it screwed in.

Got mine from Rodleys for my Dart, but it was some years back. Worth a call, I have had some real odds and sods from them.
