I remeber you saying cars without carpet look unfinshed
How will you make the carpet look good at the edges without the orginal panels
Your works is epic and it's an epic car
The closer you are to death the more alive you are

I dunno yet, I'll work that out in due course..
"Have we got to wait till the Nats?"
Quite possibly, I've done nothing on the car in the last couple of weeks, I'm waiting for parts still and I've had a whole bunch of "life" stuff that needed doing.
Normal service will be resumed shortly....

Clutch thrash. Cover had fatigued around all 3 levers, otherwise all good. Clutch looks recent, no makers name I suspect the cover is a rebuilt one. New clutch going in next week. Found a new flywheel in there as well as the pivot and throwout arm, can't believe the amount of new parts I've found on this car.

Started finishing off the rear spring relocation this week. I fitted the boxes for the front mount into the chassis rail a couple of years back when I did the chassis ties and left the rest of the job until now. Calvert sliders replace the rear shackles, as this would have lowered the car an inch, I had to incorporate a spacer into the mounting bracket to keep the ride height the same. Once tacked I'll check to make sure I've allowed enough rearward movement before I finish welding them up.
