I first saw that the front bearings in the prop were gone.
Then took off the oil pan and found the trans case has cracked from side to side

So that looks pretty terminal then.
Plan A. Take old trans to the tip. Get complete new (newly rebuilt) trans.
Plan B. As plan A, but get used trans and rebuild it.
I'm not sure that there would be that much of a cost difference between the two?
Any advice gratefully received...
